finish line

The end is in sight. The finish line approaches.

Its hard to believe that this is the last week of my 100-day effort to eat well and, in the process, shed a few kg.

When I weigh-in this Sunday I will be judging my efforts by the yardstick I set myself back at the very beginning.

Yet I already know I will not reach my target.

I already know that I will fall short of the perfect score.

But you know what? It doesn’t really matter.

Because the journey has been just as important as, if not more so than, the final destination.

And it’s actually a process of learning that will continue well past the initial time-frame envisaged.

I plan to keep posting as I look towards the next 100 days and beyond.

The blog entries may not be daily. But they will be insightful.

Because I will continue researching the whole area of nutrition and not just weigh-loss. And link to other articles, blogs and websites who do likewise.

So please, stay with me as we ride together into the sunset.

  1. Good luck!!! Sounds like it’s been an incredible journey! I loved your post on pork and Japan! I was vegetarian while I lived there and know that I have to go back for the real yakitori, yaki niku experience…not to mention the sashimi! Best!

please let me know your thoughts
